If you are bored and finding it a challenge to fight through each day of Coronavirus quarantine,
Fun Ideas to get Creative
Fitness was never so fun
Walking on the terrace with family, motivating kids to practice skipping or working out at home using applications starting with 7min followed by stretching exercises, wrapping up with Meditation will fill you up with fresh air with the sound of birds chirping. Believe me, these are the best 20-40 minutes of your day. Eat healthy and get plenty of sleep giving body time to recover. Sleep is the number one beauty booster and immunity booster. Get a lot of it while you can.
Bake Something Sweet.
Nothing is more delicious than a fresh cookie out of the oven. Bake up a storm using classic recipes found online or be daring and create your own. For those who don’t find cooking interesting try-out no flame recipes available on-line. Invite your kids and better half to get involved in some way.
Make your own movie.
Now this is going to be a memorable capture once we all return to our normal routine. Using your smartphone, shoot a movie or re-create one using household props. Use editing software like iMovie to put it all together. Catch everyone in different moods and activities to make it fun.
Plan an indoor picnic.
Clear out the living room, set down a blanket, ask each member of family member to contribute to make an innovative picnic lunch without having to step outside. Enjoy with music and cards. Note: Boost every one’s contribution for the idea is to be happy no matter what.
Write a gratitude list.
Now is the time to count your blessings and remind yourself that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Use cute stationery or your favorite pen to make it extra special.
Reconnect with Old Friends
With busy routine and work-home pressure we all feel guilty of losing touch with people we used to spend a lot of time with. Social media has given us the opportunity to reconnect with old friends, colleagues, batch mates. Do not miss this opportunity during Coroavirus quarantine.
Re-watch your favourite movies
“Yesterday I watched the pursuit of happiness again after a long time. I felt really good after doing that.” says Radha. Or look out for those award-winning movies you missed out on with family. Old movies also remind us of golden times, so why not put them on.
Raise awareness about COVID-19
A lot of people still don’t understand the necessity of staying at home. Shout at those people from your balconies. Inform everyone how easily the coronavirus spreads and urge them to stay home. All of us are sacrificing so much for controlling the spread. We cannot let a few people make everything worthless.
Visit the world with Google Earth
Even though tickets for flights around the world are at an all-time low, it is strongly advised not to travel further than your own backyard. If adventure is calling your name, load up Google Earth, type in your dream destination, and give yourself a virtual tour.
Give yourself a mani/pedi
Who needs the salon? Bust out your favorite color of polish and paint them to your heart’s content. Be sure to look at YouTube tutorials to learn how to do fun designs!
Interview your Grandparents
Give your grandparents a call and ask them all about their lives. Record the conversation using your phone. They are the ones who really need your time and have tons of wisdom lessons and memories to pass on to you. Make up for missing out with them.
Master your favorite Drink.
Whether it’s Manhattan or a glass of old-fashioned lemonade, gather supplies and ingredients and craft it to perfection.
Take a Virtual Visit to the Zoo.
Do you have a future wildlife expert living among you? Give yourself and the kids a lesson in zoology and see what the animals are up to by checking out geographical channel or YouTube videos on how animals survive.
Pray for your good health, family and countrymen .
