Namita Nayyar:
Who are your biggest influences or role models in the beauty industry?
Shradha Luthra
I got a chance to meet Huda Kattan and got a chance to attend her one-day workshop it was very inspiring and the fact that she is a boss woman and still so humble and down to earth made me feel so special and recognized touched my heart and she and her sister Mona who is the owner of perfume brand Kayali is someone I look upon to.
Namita Nayyar:
How have bridal makeup trends evolved over the past few years?
Shradha Luthra
The trends previously when coming to bridal makeup were heavy eye makeup, and contoured faces with bold lips, but now brides want more natural looks, with makeup that feels like their skin so it’s going towards more minimalism when coming to bridal makeup.
Namita Nayyar:
Are there any classic bridal makeup looks that remain timeless regardless of changing trends?
Shradha Luthra
My most requested look is my signature bridal look, which is a flushed-up look with dreamy details it looks like there is not a lot of makeup but still, it is a lot of work and it looks very minimal and natural.
Namita Nayyar:
How do you handle the pressure and expectations when creating a look for a high-profile bride?
Shradha Luthra
When it comes to handling pressure, what is most important is to be stable in your mind space and that is what I do, irrespective of who my bride is I try to do full justice to my work along with that it’s better to discuss the looks with your bride and what she wants it to be like since its her big day and it is going to very important for her. Along with that it also helps in planning since on the day there is going to be a lot of chaos while getting ready and also delayed time lines so its better to be prepared beforehand
