Ms. Namita Nayyar
Rupal, you describe “Yoga as a journey of absolute bliss that changed your life around three-sixty degrees”, share about your childhood and early experience with yoga and fitness.
Ms. Rupal Sidhpura Faria
I started practicing yoga without any inhibitions following in the footsteps of my father. Mum actually got me to all the rehearsals and yoga practices for annual days. I was never great at academics but Yoga did a number on me. The first thing I thought of post graduating was that I want to be a therapist. A yoga Therapist. I loved what I studied and I loved even more what I experienced through the practice. It was both on and off the mat. From a little girl to a woman it’s been a journey of awareness of self through self.
Very motivating. It’s taught me to love myself and my life.
I’ve inculcated two attitudes through yoga and what my parents taught me:
1. Never let situations disturb you. I’m a learner and I should only learn from them and move ahead. Change is the only constant.
2. Never let a person disturb you too. Everyone comes from a situation
This study of life changed my life around and I’m still following it as much as I can, Whilst enjoying everything I do, think and eat.
