Nidhi Mohan Kamal

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

You are the brand ambassador of Puma Do You in India along with Jacqueline, Kalki, Lisa Haydon, Sakshi Malik & others and were part of their Guinness World Record plank. How does it feel to represent such an iconic brand?

Ms. Nidhi Mohan Kamal:

Lol ! I don’t know what to say! Being on that platform is great, but being part of the world record where Indian women made history was just mind blowing, the record attempt had women as old as 61 and girls as young as 6 and together we made history and that moment was goosebumping.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

You are also a fitness entrepreneur with your chain of weight loss clinics, with its branches in Delhi, Chandigarh and Panchkula. Tell us more about your popular venture NidSun Weight Loss?

Ms. Nidhi Mohan Kamal:

NidSun is a brain child of me and my brother, Dr. Sunny Bawa (he’s a Sports and Nutrition Specialist), I was associated with Food Industry and He was associated with Sports, doping in both was what made us come up with something that would help people achieve their dream bodies but without any side effects or long term consequences .

So, we started with one Clinic and some non-surgical procedures, gradually we introduced more things we were the First all exclusive Weight Loss Clinics and the first ones to get Fat Freezing technology in India which is now a big rage.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

Would you like to tell us about the changing scenario of fitness in our country over the years?

Ms. Nidhi Mohan Kamal:

There have been some good changes and there have been some bad changes.

First, the good ones. Holistic way of looking at fitness has been the biggest of all for me, unlike the past decades its not just looks but for the first time fitness is being viewed as a lifestyle from eating, to mindfulness, meditation and reducing carbon foot print everything is being looked upon which is great.

Now the bad parts, unfortunately the masses are still attracted by aesthetics, overuse and misuse of supplements, doping, steroids abuse have become so common its not even funny. Gyms have become more pharmacy than real place to find health.
