Ms. Namita Nayyar:
Malvika, you were also part of India Next Top Model, how was your experience on being on the reality show, what were your take-backs from the show.
Ms. Malvika Sitlani:
INTM was an experience I won’t forget. It was great to be in a competition everyday for 18 days of the shoot. I love healthy competition, it was my reason to wake up in the mornings. I knew I had to put my best foot forward in order to make sure I don’t get eliminated. So, it was great and I met some nice people. However, I don’t think it helped me in my modeling career as such. What I will thank INTM for, is my Audience. I gained a slight bit of popularity back in the day, it gave me a boost to build my YouTube channel.
Ms. Namita Nayyar:
Today “makeup shaming” is really prevalent especially on social media, since people can share their opinions more anonymously, being a makeup lover and beauty blogger your take on the same.
Ms. Malvika Sitlani:
Developing a thick skin was one of the initial lessons I taught myself with each passing day as I came more and more under the scrutiny of more people. For me personally, the key lies to be secure with yourself, and love yourself enough so that the only thing that really does grab your attention are positive comments, and constructive feedback. However, sometimes when the comments do get a bit extreme, I prefer utilizing my Instagram platform to explain and put forth my point of view in the most gentle manner possible.
Ms. Namita Nayyar:
Do you follow any particular diet? What are your favorite cheat meals?
Ms. Malvika Sitlani:
If I am being honest, I do not follow a diet! For me, life has been way too short to avoid or say no to a good plate of food. I have been blessed with a mother that knows how to cook almost everything you usually crave, but I’d never go on a diet because I can never say no to Mangalorean food made by my mum! Apart from that, one of my favorite cheat meals is a well-made burger with a side of fries.
