Finding a balance between fitness, work, and personal life can be challenging in today’s fast-paced world. How do you manage to prioritize your health and well-being amidst your busy schedule as a digital creator and entrepreneur?
Lakshmi Timssy
Balancing fitness, work, and personal life can indeed be challenging in today’s fast-paced world. For example, when I committed to a 60-day yoga challenge on Instagram, it required extensive recording, shooting, and editing. Despite this, there’s an inner voice that motivates me to serve and to not walk this path alone, but to bring as many people along as possible. While my Instagram following may not be the largest, my intent is strong, and it keeps me going. This intent drives me to plan effectively, allocate time for work, and prioritize my personal well-being. At the end of the day, my goal is to be of service to others, and I’m excited to see where this journey takes me in the future.

As a digital creator and influencer, you have a unique platform to reach and connect with people worldwide. How do you plan to leverage this platform to raise awareness about the importance of yoga and encourage others to join the global movement on International Yoga Day?
Lakshmi Timssy
I feel fortunate to have worked as a digital creator for the past few years, allowing me to transform and present my yogic practices through posts, stories, and reels. To raise awareness about the importance of yoga and encourage participation, I plan to conduct an online workshop on June 21st, International Yoga Day. This workshop will be an opportunity for as many people as possible to join me in the journey of exploring and connecting with our inner selves through yoga.

Yoga has gained widespread recognition and popularity on a global scale. What do you think contributes to its universal appeal, and why do you believe it continues to resonate with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds?
Lakshmi Timssy
I practice traditional Hatha yoga, which is believed to originate from Lord Shiva, the first Yogi, highlighting its ancient roots. The universal appeal of yoga lies in its profound ability to help individuals explore their purpose and true selves. It’s more than just physical postures; it’s a journey of self-discovery and inner peace. Yoga’s timeless nature and its holistic approach to well-being ensure that it remains relevant and resonant with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds. As long as humanity exists, yoga will continue to be a guiding force for those seeking balance and enlightenment.

Reflecting on your yoga journey, are there any memorable moments or experiences that stand out to you as particularly transformative or enlightening?
Lakshmi Timssy
Haha! Where to start—everything has changed and improved for the better. My yoga journey is an ongoing process of growth and transformation. One of the most enlightening aspects is how the lessons learned on the mat seamlessly integrate into daily life. True meditation begins after our practice, whether it’s 30 minutes of sitting in Padmasana or Sukhasana. A dedicated yogic lifestyle has the power to dissolve fear, dependency, depression, and stress, while opening up a wide spectrum of thinking in the most aesthetic and profound way.
On a spiritual journey, having a master is essential, as they guide you forward like a beacon of light. I would like to dedicate every word to my master, for without him, nothing can be done or said. This journey has been incredibly transformative, enriching every aspect of my life.
