You have mentioned that your father Jackie Shroff wanted you to be an actress, how he reacted when you told him about your future plans

Ms. Krishna Shroff

Dad’s always been extremely supportive of whatever I wanted to do. At the end of the day, I guess every parent wants to see their kid happy. I believe he didn’t want the other pretty face in the family to go to waste, so I’ve made sure that isn’t the case here

You have mentioned that your fitness inspiration is your brother Tiger Shroff, tell me how did he motivate you? Do you work out together?

Ms. Krishna Shroff

He definitely was my inspiration when I first began my journey, but seeing how far I’ve been able to come through my own perseverance and nobody else’s, I’ve become my own inspiration. He’s laid out a great foundation for me to follow as the elder sibling though, and for that, I’ll always be grateful. We’ll work out together once in a while, but not super often since I prefer training in the morning and he trains in the evening.

Women Fitness India talks about celebrity diets and fitness regimes, do you follow any special diets? What are your pre and post-workout meals?

Ms.Krishna Shroff

I’m honestly not big on diets. Most of them are fads and there’s no longevity in that. You have to make your training and the foods that you eat a lifestyle. Everyone is different, so I can only speak for myself. What has truly worked best for me has been portion controlling my food; however, I’ll never deprive myself of anything because I believe you have to be mentally at peace in order to look your best. Listen to your body and make sure you give it what it wants. My pre-workout meal is usually a piece of brown bread toast with melted butter on top, 3 white scrambled eggs, and a double shot of espresso to get me going. My post-workout meal depends on what I trained that day. If it’s a bigger muscle like on leg day, then I’ll indulge in some good carbs like white rice and potatoes (contrary to popular belief) along with any lean protein. If it’s a smaller muscle I’ve trained on the day

, I’ll focus on something high in protein.
