Namita Nayyar:
Are there any specific actors in the Tollywood industry you are keen to collaborate with?
Edin Rose
Well I have always been a Ram charan girl, and I like Dulqueer Salman, Dhanush, and Jr.NTR along with that all Tollywood actors are super talented, and working alongside any of them will always be a privilege nonetheless.
Namita Nayyar:
What does a typical day look like for you?
Edin Rose
My day starts around 11 am with breakfast, continued with a few meetings, in case I don’t have those I go through my acting books and re-act scenes, towards night I hit the gym for 3 hours since I’m really into fitness, if it’s a weekend I end my day with the last show in a PVR and if it’s a weekday I eat and binge TV/sleep after the gym.
Namita Nayyar
Can you describe your diet and fitness routine?
Edin Rose
The diet I’ve never had of late though I try to only eat at home and avoid outside food. The fitness part I love working out and lifting weights, I try to max my power and push harder every day, you work a max of 2-3 hours a day anyhow.
Namita Nayyar
How do you stay fit and maintain your physique for modeling and acting?
Edin Rose
I work out and that’s the only answer for this, considering I’m someone who loves food and cannot diet, it doesn’t go well with my career, therefore, I push it in the gym.
Namita Nayyar
How has your journey in the entertainment industry changed you as a person?
Edin Rose
It’s grounded me as a person, being the only child to my parents and coming from a place and family of luxury I never realized that when you chase your career you start as a nobody, you go through the same process everyone goes through and struggle the same way, no one cares where and how you came from, all that matters is what you bring to the table, I mellowed down my temperament and character a lot since I moved to this industry.
Namita Nayyar
What is the most important lesson you’ve learned from your career?
Edin Rose
I’ve learned never to take a rejection or a no to heart be it anything in life, there is always better written, and what’s written for me cannot be taken by another & what’s not for me can never happen even if I push to the max. A no or reject may be a blessing in disguise.
Namita Nayyar
If, you could change one thing about the entertainment industry, what would it be?
Edin Rose
I would change how they stereotype certain looks, for example, mine only to specific roles and don’t look deep that someone who looks like me could also play the role of a villager with the right hair and makeup, I feel they think instead of going through that whole process they rather just cast someone who has that look, which in turn limits a lot of artists palette.
