Ms. Namita Nayyar:
How would you define music for yourself? How far has music played a vital role in keeping up with your mental health?
Ms. Asees Kaur:
Music is something very close to my heart. I really can’t imagine my life without music. It’d be very boring. I think music for me has a very spiritual connection. I feel at peace whenever I sing whether in the studio or singing live on stage for the audience. It is very important to keep me sane, happy and positive. So, music plays a very important role in my life. It’s like “Agar music nahi hai to mai nahin hun”.
Ms. Namita Nayyar:
Message you would like to share for Women Fitness India readers, on why it’s important for women today to prioritize mental and physical health.
Ms. Asees Kaur:
I feel it is very important to take care of your physical and mental health. Physical is important because if you’re physically fit it automatically brings a lot of confidence. You’re already in a positive and happy mood. Please try to work out for at least thrice a week for 30 minutes each day. Along with physical health, mental health is very important. Because if you’re mentally happy and positive, it definitely brings a lot of change in your vibe. So, you always attract more positive things and happy things in your life. Always speak if there’s any issue which is disturbing you mentally. Please bring it up and discuss it with anyone in your life who you feel can solve it or understand your point of view. Be open for a discussion and take care of yourself.
