Namita Nayyar:
Your recent movie The Kerala Story has been the talk of the town lately, how has been this journey for you, and how did you prep yourself for the role?
Adah Sharma:
Yes it’s crazy. Breaking new records everyday. The audience is our PR and i think that’s the best thing that can happen for a film. From a gola waala who is giving free golas and an autorickshaw man who is giving free rides when people show a Kerala story ticket . People out of their will sticking posters on roads and sending us so so soooo much love .
Prep for the role I will have to write pages on this. Months went into this. We met the actual girls , the survivors heard their stories. Now their videos are out for everyone to see on public domain, we worked on the accent, did loads and loads of workshops so everything looks authentic.
Namita Nayyar:
You recently spoke about getting threats post the release, how did you deal with mixed reactions from the audience.
Adah Sharma:
I actually got very positive reactions from people who watched the film. The negative reactions are from those who haven’t watched the film , or because they chose not to watch it because they heard someone from their ideology who also didn’t watch the film said something negative about it.
It’s an overwhelming feeling when the audience watches a film multiple times also. Feels so good
Namita Nayyar:
Women Fitness India talks about celebrity diets and fitness regime, do you follow any special diet? Your all-time favourite cuisine?
Adah Sharma:
I enjoy non spicy food. Rice and sambhar is my favorite. I like chaat a lot of that is a cuisine. Pani Puri with ragda . I really don’t like onions so any food without spice and without onions . I am pure vegetarian since birth , maybe since my past life also haha. I like continental ,Italian also but again without onions .
Namita Nayyar:
What comprises of your fitness regime? How do you keep up for your mental health along with physical fitness?
Adah Sharma:
I keep my mind active and try when I’m doing one activity to not get distracted and focus on just that. Even if it’s for an hour . Like if I’ve decided to play the piano for an hour I will try to keep the phone away at that time. I also enjoy doing various activities, martial arts, dance but I think all that is only possible if my mind is not troubled.

Lastly being on our digital cover, what message you would like to share for your fans and upcoming projects?
Adah Sharma:
I have 4 projects ready before the Kerala story
Commando , Tibba , the game of Girgit and season 2 of a very big show. There’s also an international film. And after the Kerala story now there’s more stuff I’m signing. I will try to do different roles.. things I haven’t done before , work in different languages.
