Ms. Namita Nayyar:

Your dream and desire to be a singer started at the age of 5 with singing notes from “Gurubani”, now that you look back on how you would describe your journey as, and who has been your biggest supporter and motivation in this journey.

Ms. Asees Kaur:

I started singing Gurbani at the age of 5 and I really feel blessed to start my journey like this because I still feel because all the soulfulness that you hear in my voice is due to the hours that I’ve put in singing Gurbani. It really has a great impact on my singing style. My journey has been pretty amazing. I got to try different genres of music, romantic, club numbers, party numbers etc.

So, I really feel blessed that I got to show my versatility. My family has been my biggest supporter from day one and it was my father who wanted me to sing Gurbani and that’s how my love for music started.  He and my whole family are my biggest supporters. I’m deeply inspired by Madam Noor Jehan ji and Arijit Singh. Both of them have been an inspiration. Especially I get really motivated listening to Arijit Singh, his journey, and the way he sings, it always touches my heart.
