Flu Fighter Immunity Booster Recipe

Ingredients

  • 10 to 12 lemons, halved and juiced (reserve about 6 to 8 lemon halves to boil)
  • 1 large, piece of fresh ginger, peeled and sliced around 200 g
  • 1 to 3-inch pieces of turmeric root, peeled and sliced
  • 3 tablespoons of honey or Agave nectar
  • 1 teaspoon or less of cayenne pepper (red pepper powder)
  • 4 cups of filtered water

Preparation

  1. Place all the ingredients into a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to low and cover.
  3. Simmer for 45 minutes.
  4. Strain out the large pieces of ginger, turmeric, and lemon rinds.
  5. Once completely cooled, strain & pour into your glass jars for storage in the fridge.
  6. Drink 8-10 ounces a day, warmed or cold to help boost your immunity.

Carrot, Apple, Orange Juice

Ingredients

  • 3 Carrots
  • 1 Apple
  • 1 Orange
  • 2-3 peppercorns

Preparation

Put all these fruits in a juicer and make a potent juice rich in Vitamin A, B-6, C, potassium, and Folic Acid. Enjoy. You can add 2-3 black peppercorns for added immunity
